Spanish immigration procedure is conducted in Spanish, on Spanish electronic platforms, with deadlines served electronically. The risk for an English-speaking applicant is not that they cannot read a form — it is that a requerimiento is served to an address they are not monitoring, in language whose deadline consequences are not obvious, and the file closes.

Working in English means you understand what has been asked of you and by when, while the procedure itself is handled in Spanish by someone qualified to conduct it.

Barcelona, and why territory is not just an address

Foreigners' offices in Spain are provincial, so the office that resolves your file is the one for the province where you are registered. Above that, several documents are issued at the level of the autonomous community: in Catalonia the arraigo and integration reports come from the Generalitat, and Catalonia also has the Servei de Primera Acollida certificate, which has no equivalent elsewhere in Spain.

Municipal documents — the padrón, and especially the historical padrón — come from your town hall. Knowing which of the three levels issues what is the practical difference between a file that moves and a file that waits.

Do you work in English?

Yes. We work with English-speaking clients throughout, while the procedure itself is conducted in Spanish before the Spanish authorities by a lawyer qualified to do so. You always know what has been asked and by when.

Do I have to be in Barcelona to work with you?

No. The service is fully online and we work across Spain, as well as with clients still in the United States. Your province determines which foreigners' office resolves your file, not who can represent you.

What is different about immigration procedure in Catalonia?

The arraigo and integration reports are issued by the Generalitat de Catalunya rather than by another regional government, and Catalonia has the Servei de Primera Acollida certificate, which does not exist elsewhere in Spain. Much regional and municipal documentation is also issued in Catalan.
